History
The Texas Association of Business (TAB), the state chamber, was established in 1922 by three San Antonio businessmen: G.M. Kneibel, G.G. Geyer, and I.M. McIlhenny. Since then, TAB has worked alongside businesses and its chamber partners to represent companies of all sizes and sectors, advocating for their bottom line by driving legislative decisions in Texas and Washington D.C.
TAB is the designated National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Affiliate.
